DCWV July Stackaholic Challenge

Good morning!  It is that time again...DCWV's Stackaholic challenge!  Every month there is a new sketch for a card and a layout for fans to participate with for a chance to win amazing paper stacks!
This is the card sketch for July:
And here is the card I created based on that sketch:
I used the Sunday Afternoon paper stack and the Sunday Afternoon tag stack for that cute typewriter panel.  I added glossy accents to the hearts and typewriter keys for extra dimension.  The ribbons I used are from May Arts.
For those of you who love creating scrapbook layouts, here is your sketch!
You have the whole month of July to create.  All the details can be found on the DCWV blog.

Patriotic Top Hat Centerpiece

Hello crafty friends!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog, and here is what I created for you...a patriotic top hat centerpiece!
The files I used are from SVG Attic's PSD Stars and Stripes kit.  Don't you just love those star rosettes?!  The papers I used are from DCWV's Seaside Yacht stack.
I used Totally White Trendy Twine and May Arts ribbons as well as wooden buttons and homemade enamel dots for embellishments.
The star branches that you see behind the star rosettes are some that I had in my stash :)
I hope you all have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine ~ Father's Day Toolbox

Today a some of my Trendy Twine sisters and I have Father's Day projects up on the Trendy Twine blog. Stop over there for even more inspiration!  Here is what I created for the occasion.
I started out with a Small Kraft Gable Box and cut along the perforated lines underneath the handle part.  I kept the handle parts and then adhered the two trimmed flaps into the inside of the box.  I stamped the Wood Grain Stamp from Unity all over the folded box.  Once I assembled the box, I hot glued the handle in place so it would stay where it needed to be!
For the sentiment, I used a Kraft Tag with Metal Rim and tied it on the toolbox with Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.  I also used the same twine to wrap around the toolbox for extra visual interest. The brads that looked like screws were a great addition as well.  I filled the toolbox with kraft shred and tools that I had cut out from SVG Attic's PSD Toolbox Kit.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Trendy Twine~Gift Card Holder

Good morning friends! Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  Today I have a fun gift card bag project to share with you.
I started out by using Perfect Pairs Planner Stamps and You & Me Planner Stamps to stamp on the Small Glassine Bag.  Those bags hold gift cards perfectly!  I added some washi tape and a few Autumn Sequins to dress the bag up and add a little color.
For the bag topper, I wrapped Totally Black Trendy Twine around it multiple times and added a bow of Totally Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  The hearts along the top of are stamped from the You & Me Planner Stamps.

DCWV Stackaholic Sketch Card

Good morning all!  Beth from the DCWV Social Media Design Team here with you today with a masculine birthday card based off of this month's Stackaholic Challenge sketch.
I really enjoyed using the Maps, Text & Ledgers stack to create this vintage card.  It is such a great vintage stack!  I layered the patterned papers with brown cardstock from DCWV's Neutrals Cardstock stack.  The card base is from DCWV's Box of Cards-Solid.
I added some brads and May Arts ribbon for embellishments.  I also used Tombow Adhesive Dots for attaching the ribbon to the cardstock.  I popped up a couple of fussy cut stamps, the date panel, and the sentiment panel with foam tape for extra dimension.
And if you want to participate in this month's challenge, here is the card sketch!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

You should be arriving from Tracy's blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

Here is what I created for the hop:

I made the Eiffel Tower from SVG Attic's SDS Paris Voyage set using blue and black cardstock.
Then I used varying sizes of the flower and leaf files from the box in the G is for Gratitude set to adorn the tower.  The paper used on the flowers is from DCWV's Wedding DIY Project stack.  The leaves were cut from DCWV's All Dressed Up stack.  I added liquid pearl dots to the center of the flowers and sporadically on the tower.
I think the elegance of this project makes it one of my all time favorites!  What do you think?

DCWV Father's Day Cards

Good morning all!  Beth from the DCWV Social Media Design Team here with you today for some Father's Day inspiration!

I love creating cards that are specific to the loved one I am sending it to.  This first one is for my fun-loving Father-In-Law.  He absolutely loves classic cars and going to car shows, so I knew it would be perfect for him!  This card features the amazing papers in the Treasures stack (available in Michaels stores).  That license paper is so awesome!
I cut out different elements from the stack and layered them up.  For embellishments, I used Trendy Twine, a buckle, brad and staples.
My next two cards are very nature oriented.  They are going to be for my Dad and my husband's Grandpa.  They both are/were farmers to the core and love everything about nature.   I used papers from the Luxe Lodge stack, also available at Michaels to create these.  This first one uses an svg file from  SVG Attic.  I loved using the different colors of paper to add dimension to the card.
This card also uses a file from SVG Attic.  The white panel is from the Embossed White stack available in store and online at Joann's.

These two cards needed very minimal embellishing since the papers made such a statement all by themselves.

You want to know what one of my absolute favorite things about DCWV papers is?  They cut amazingly with my Silhouette Cameo, which is a must for my crafting!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine~Hershey's Kiss

Good morning friends!  Today is my day to post on the Trendy Twine blog.  June is the month for weddings, so that is the theme I went with for today's project.
The Hershey's Kiss svg is from SVG Attic's JGW Beary Sweet set and it is perfect for a treat box to sit on tables at a bridal shower or wedding or to add some treats and money in it for a gift for the bride and groom.  I used Totally Black Trendy Twine to write "love" on the tag as well as to wrap around the top a few times and tie the rings at the top.
The finishing touch was adding Frosty Sequins Mix on the tag and box so add a little color and sparkle.

Disney Collection by Jamberry FROZEN wraps!

Okay, I know this isn't a crafty post, but I just wanted to shout it out to the WORLD that Jamberry released their Frozen wraps to their Disney Collection by Jamberry.

Seriously.  I don't think they could be any cuter!  The best part is there are even two wrap sets that are for girls (up to around age 8).  I only have boys, but I do have nieces who totally LOVE this movie and would do anything to have these princesses on their little fingers :)

OH, and now, Disney Collection by Jamberry wraps are included in the Buy 3 Get 1 FREE deal!  How awesome is that?!

Don't you just love them?  I know I do!  All of these are now available on my Jamberry website, so if you are considering getting some, I would really appreciate it if you would order through me :)  Every little bit helps fund my scrapbooking/pretty nails/and family!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty, and pretty nail day ;)
